It's well into Spring here in Florida. I've been working on several Flower/Flora Dragons since the beginning of the month. There came a time where I just couldn't pass up those teny-tiny 2" clay flowerpots in the garden section of the local Wal-Mart. I bought 3 back in February, tossed 'em into my craft drawer and pretty much ignored 'em. Then this month inspiration grew.

I started with 3 Flowers; a tulip, a sunflower, and a lily. Then I did loads of research on how the plants grew, how they were put together, what colours they came in. So much research! Not that I minded. After the flowers were sculpted and painted, I sculpted some curious Dragons. Those Dragons chose their own flowers and colour cam to them.

I liked the first 3 so much that I asked my followers over on my FaceBook page to suggest some other flowers. I got 5 wonderful suggestions and then Hubby suggested a 6th. Volia! They were born into the world, an everlasting piece of Spring.

These adorable Flowerpot Dragons are $25 + $5 shipping in the US. I will ship outside the US, you just gotta pay the extra shipping cost.

I'm almost at 300 likes over in Facebook Land, if you wanna hop over there and share some of that like love, I'd appreciate it. A Give-Away will happen when 300 likes happen.

The second part of Spring sculpts are my Candy Wrapper Flora Dragons. Oh em gee super cute!

I wanted to do more flower Dragons at a lower cost, so these babies were born!

They aren't finished yet in the picture, but 5/6 of them are letting the glaze cure as I type! The 6th is getting a bit of a cosmetic touch-up, just cause I wasn't happy with it. These ones will be $12.50 each + $5 shipping in the US. Outside the US, you just gotta pay the extra shipping cost, of course.
